Business Jet Access Appoints David Martin Chief Inspector

Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has announced the appointment of David Martin as Chief Inspector for the aircraft charter and management divisions.

In making the announcement, Brian Hoffman, General Manager, said Martin will have the direct responsibility for working with the FAA to ensure compliance for all aircraft that are managed by BJA including those that are carried on the company's FAR Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate.  Hoffman said this includes overseeing aircraft conformity inspections, approval of RII Inspection Authorizations, the submission of MEL and RVSM documents, and conducting internal and external maintenance and safety audits.

Prior to joining BJA, Martin held various positions of increasing responsibility with several aerospace companies including Kalogridis International, BaySys Technologies and Flite Components.  He also worked for two major airlines, United and Continental, in various capacities including maintenance supervisor, quality inspector and aircraft maintenance technician.

Martin served in the US Army as a Flight Engineer and holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA).
