Business Jet Access Adds Hawker 850XP to Certificate

Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has added a Hawker 850XP to its FAR Part 135 Charter Certificate.   The aircraft, which has a seating configuration for eight passengers, is a low-time 2006 model with a maximum range of 2,392 nautical miles.

"The Hawker 850XP will fit nicely into our existing charter fleet by providing additional range flexibility," said Jamie Rose, Executive Flight Solutions Manager for BJA.   "The aircraft, which will be based in Dallas, has the capability of flying non-stop to either coast and will provide our customers with an economical transportation solution."

With club/conference seating, a stand-up cabin, forward galley and an enclosed lavatory, the aircraft also has dual 14 inch bulkhead monitors which can be used for on-board video/CD requirements as well as a moving map display.   The base rate for the aircraft is $3,100 per flight hour.

BJA, which was recently awarded a Platinum rating by Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US), has a total of seven aircraft in its charter fleet including a BAC 1-11 with 30 executive seats, two Citation VIIs, and one each Gulfstream IVSP, Gulfstream IV, Gulfstream III and the Hawker 850XP.

In addition to achieving the ARG/US Platinum rating, BJA is an authorized air carrier for conducting flights into and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).   BJA was the first FAR Part 135 aircraft charter provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since September 11, 2001 to gain this authorization.
