Business Jet Access Earns ARG/US Platinum Rating

Achieves Highest Rating Afforded FAR Part 135 Charter Operators

Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has been awarded a Platinum rating by Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US).   The Platinum rating is the highest designation afforded an FAR Part 135 Aircraft Charter Operator by ARG/US, a Cincinnati, OH based aviation data, research and analysis firm.

"The ARG/US Platinum designation is a highly coveted rating for those companies in the aircraft charter business," said Brian Hoffman, General Manager, Business Jet Access.   "It not only signifies the level of safety we've achieved as a company, it's also a means for existing and potential customers to measure our effectiveness in delivering a high quality aircraft charter experience."

According to industry statistics compiled by ARG/US, there are approximately 1,000 companies that operate jet and turboprop aircraft for passenger charter in the US.   Only 52, or about 5%, have achieved the Platinum rating.   Business Jet Access gained the Platinum designation after meeting the stringent criteria for the ARG/US Gold rating as well as successfully passing an on-site safety audit which is conducted identically to the Department of Defense (DOD) Air Carrier Quality and Safety inspection.   The audit is a very comprehensive evaluation that is constructive, operational and system oriented.

In addition to achieving the ARG/US Platinum rating, Hoffman said Business Jet Access has recently accomplished several objectives including the designation as an authorized air carrier for conducting flights into and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).   BJA was the first FAR Part 135 aircraft charter provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since September 11, 2001 to gain this authorization.   The company also added a Gulfstream III to its 135 Certificate and completed RVSM certification requirements for its BAC 1-11 aircraft.
