Company Overview
Business Jet Access (BJA) is a family-owned business based at Dallas Love Field.
The partners in the company are Robert J. Wright and Michael G. Wright.
Both gentlemen have extensive and long-standing business ties to the local community, and are actively involved in various philanthropic activities.
BJA was founded in 1993, and provides aircraft management, aircraft charter, aircraft maintenance, and pilot services to the Dallas community.
Our team of dedicated professionals strives to create customer value by focusing on the safety and well-being of our customers, constantly reviewing and improving processes, and closely managing each aspect of the customer experience.
BJA holds an FAA Air Carrier Certificate with a "10 or More Seats" authorization, and is certified for worldwide operations utilizing multiple aircraft types.
BJA has met rigorous safety and operational standards and is rated as a "Platinum" operator by Aviation Research Group Us (ARG/US).

Management Biographies

Brian Hoffman
General Manager
Mr. Hoffman joined Business Jet Access in May 2005, and is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations and strategic business activities.
Mr. Hoffman has 30 years of military and civilian aircraft maintenance and operations experience.
He has held key management positions with Raytheon Aircraft, Signature Flight Support, Gulfstream, and the former K-C Aviation.
Mr. Hoffman holds FAA Airframe & Powerplant and Commercial Pilot certificates, and is an active member of the NATA Maintenance & Systems Technology Committee.
He earned a BBA degree in Aviation Management from Wichita State University and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Jim Davidson
Director of Operations
Mr. Davidson joined Business Jet Access in July 2005, and is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day flight operations.
Mr. Davidson has 40 years of military and civilian experience in flight operations.
He has held key positions with the Department of Treasury, Federal Aviation Administration, Hunt Building Corporation, United Airlines/Avolar, and the Washington Flight Program - Hangar 6.
Mr. Davidson holds FAA Airline Transport certificates in both airplanes and helicopters and is a Certified Flight Instructor in both categories.
He also performed Designated Pilot Examiner duties in airplanes and helicopters for twelve years.

John Hayes
Director of Maintenance
Mr. Hayes joined Business Jet Access in November 2006 and has direct responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations for the aircraft managed by BJA, including those that are carried on the company's FAR Part 135 Charter Certificate.
Mr. Hayes has 29 years of experience in corporate maintenance and operations. Prior to joining BJA, Mr. Hayes held various positions of increasing responsibility with NetJets International (NJI) including Director of Maintenance and Manager of Quality Assurance at the Savannah, GA, base of operations.
He also served as Senior Manager for Gulfstream Maintenance at NetJets Middle East (NJME) in Jeddah KSA.
Mr. Hayes holds FAA Airframe & Powerplant and Private Pilot certificates.

Steve Nelson
Chief Pilot
Mr. Nelson joined Business Jet Access as Chief Pilot in September 2005.
He is responsible for the efficient utilization of assigned aircraft and flight crews, and ensuring all crew members are properly trained, qualified and current with all applicable FAA regulations.
Mr. Nelson. He has 31 years of experience in General Aviation and Charter/Management Operations, having amassed over 13,000 hours in multiple turbine aircraft types.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southern Methodist University, and an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate.

Jamie Rose
Manager, Executive Flight Solutions
Mrs. Rose joined Business Jet Access in 2001 and is responsible for oversight of all client scheduling and charter sales, and assessing and resolving all customer-related issues.
Prior to her present role, Jamie held a variety of positions within the Business Jet organization.
Her initial tenure included Customer Service Representative and later Quality Control Manager for Business Jet Center.
She then transitioned to Charter Sales and Flight Scheduling before being promoted to Client Advocate for Business Jet Access.
In January of 2007 her responsibilities as Client Advocate were combined with her current role in Executive Flight Solutions.

David Carr
Director, Safety & Security
Mr. Carr joined Business Jet Access in September 2005 as Director of Aviation Safety and Security and Gulfstream III Captain.
Mr. Carr has 20 years of combined military, airline and corporate aviation experience.
He has held key military leadership positions as an Army Aviator, Aviation Safety Officer and Military Police Officer.
Mr. Carr retired from the military in 2005, serving his last five years concurrently in the Army Reserve and as an airline pilot with Delta Connection.
Mr. Carr holds Airline Transport Pilot and Commercial Instrument helicopter ratings and is an active member of the Flight Safety Foundation.
He earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Guy Skinner
Manager, Supply Chain
Mr. Skinner joined Business Jet Access in June 2005 and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Supply Chain activities.
Mr. Skinner has 39 years of commercial and corporate aircraft experience, focusing on the inventory and contracting areas of the business.
He has held management positions with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, Signature Flight Support, Gulfstream Aerospace and Chelton Aviation.

David Martin
Chief Inspector
Mr. Martin joined Business Jet Access in 2007 and is responsible for the Quality Assurance Department and regulatory oversight of the Maintenance Department.
Prior to joining BJA, Mr. Martin held various positions of increasing responsibility with several aerospace companies including Kalogridis International, BaySys Technologies and Flite Components.
He also worked for two major airlines, United and Continental, in various capacities including maintenance supervisor, quality inspector and aircraft maintenance technician.
Mr. Martin served in the US Army as a Flight Engineer and holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA).
